Pure Water EDI Module

EDI is a new desalination process that combines electrodialysis and ion exchange. This technology replaces the traditional mixed ion exchange desalination process (DI) with an electrically regenerated ion exchange process. It achieves high desalination efficiency through ion exchange resins and selective ion membranes. Combined with reverse osmosis, the process achieves high desalination rates of 10-15 MΩ per unit area. EDI utilizes standard components and can be customized to meet specific requirements.

Equipment Principle

1. Continuously produces ultrapure water with optimally stable effluent quality and high yields (yields can reach up to 95%).

2. Modular production enables fully automated equipment control.

3. No acid or alkali regeneration is required, eliminating downtime.

4. No acid or alkali dilution, transportation, or storage facilities are required.

5. The equipment is compact and small, requiring minimal floor space.

6. Safe and reliable, eliminating manual contact with acids and alkalis.

7. Saves backwash and cleaning water, eliminates recycled wastewater, and eliminates the need for wastewater treatment equipment.

8. Easy and convenient installation, with low installation costs, reduces equipment operating and maintenance costs.

9. Simple operation and low labor intensity.
