Product Overview

PP Cotton Filter Cartridge, also known as PP Sediment Filter, is made from 100% polypropylene fiber using melt-blown technology.
It is designed to effectively remove sand, rust, silt, suspended solids, and large particulate impurities from water, serving as the first-stage filtration in water treatment systems.

PP cotton filters are widely used in RO systems, ultrafiltration systems, industrial pretreatment, and household water purification.

Working Principle

PP cotton filters work through depth filtration:

  • Water flows from the outer layer to the inner layer of the cartridge

  • Larger particles are trapped on the outer layers

  • Smaller particles are captured in the inner layers

  • This gradient density structure ensures high dirt-holding capacity and low pressure drop
