Quartz sand/activated carbon filter

Quartz sand filters

Using quartz sand as a filter medium, they filter high-turbidity water through a layer of granular or non-granular sand at a certain thickness under a certain pressure. This highly efficient filtration device effectively intercepts and removes suspended matter, organic matter, colloidal particles, microorganisms, chlorine, odor, and some heavy metal ions, ultimately reducing turbidity and purifying water quality.

Quartz sand filters are typically used as pre-treatment for reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration systems, primarily to intercept and adsorb sediment, colloids, metal ions, and organic matter.

Activated carbon filtration equipment can remove discoloration, odor, and heavy metals such as mercury, lead, cadmium, zinc, iron, manganese, and chromium from clean water. It can also remove high molecular compounds such as arsenic, hydride, sulfide, residual chlorine, and radioactive substances such as strontium and radium from clean water, and remove and kill bacteria, E. coli, and other carcinogens in water.

Applications

Widely applicable to the food, pharmaceutical, electronics, chemical, and industrial wastewater industries.
1. Meets the hydraulic system's high-precision filtration requirements and blocks certain impurities from entering the system.
2. The filter element must be sufficiently strong to withstand pressure damage.

3. High flow capacity and minimal pressure loss.

4. Easy to clean and replace.
