Direct drinking water equipment

Many people consider water purifiers to be unnecessary equipment for milk tea shops. They think boiling water and letting it air dry, or using potable water directly, is a waste of time and money. Therefore, water purifiers are irreplaceable for milk tea shops. The water source is the most crucial factor in a tea shop's beverage production, and the quality of the water has a direct impact on the taste of the milk tea.

Better milk tea shops have larger flow of people and have higher requirements for water quality and taste. They also have to meet the use of multiple equipment, such as water boiling machines, direct drinking water, ice makers, coffee machines, etc. Such equipment has a large water demand per minute, especially fully automatic water boiling machines and ice makers, which need to be continuously supplied with water during peak seasons.

The TDS (purity) value of typical tap water is around 100, while water that has been through a qualified water purifier is around 50, and water from a water purifier has a TDS value of around 14. The lower the TDS value, the more fragrant and less astringent the brewed tea, and the clearer the ice cubes produced by the ice maker.

Water quality is crucial for delicious milk tea, so the water purifier filter should be replaced regularly. If the filter is not replaced for six months or even longer, the water purifier will essentially become ineffective, leading to scale buildup in the water boiler and ice maker, and indirectly causing a serious decline in the quality of the beverages. Without adequate water quality, how can a beverage be competitive?
