Double-Stage Reverse Osmosis

High-Efficiency Industrial Pure Water Solution

Product Overview

The Double-Stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) System is a high-performance water purification solution designed for applications requiring low TDS, low conductivity, and stable water quality.
By combining two reverse osmosis units in series, the system achieves deep desalination and provides an ideal pretreatment for EDI ultrapure water systems.

This system is widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, laboratories, food & beverage, boilers, and chemical processing.

Working Principle

Double-stage reverse osmosis operates by applying pressure to force water through two layers of semi-permeable RO membranes:

  • First-Stage RO removes most dissolved salts, hardness, organic matter, bacteria, and colloids.

  • Second-Stage RO further removes residual ions and trace impurities from the first-stage permeate.

This two-step process significantly improves desalination rate, water stability, and overall system reliability.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Ultra-high desalination rate (≥99.7%)

  • Low conductivity output, suitable for EDI feed water

  • Stable water quality, less affected by raw water fluctuations

  • Extended membrane lifespan due to reduced salt load on second-stage RO

  • Modular and customizable design

  • Automatic PLC control available

  • Low operating cost & energy-efficient
