Single valve double tank softening water device

The single-valve, dual-tank water softening system is a mechanical device that utilizes the ion exchange principle. It is primarily used to remove scaling ions such as calcium and magnesium from water, with a treatment flow range of 0.3-100 tons/hour. Its raw water hardness is ≤8mmol/L, its outlet water hardness is ≤0.03mmol/L, its inlet pressure is 0.2-0.5MPa, and its operating temperature is 2-45°C. Regeneration methods include both downstream and upstream regeneration.
This device, consisting of a resin tank, salt tank, and controller, integrates an integrated system and automatically regenerates by siphoning salt. The core operating principle is that when raw water passes through a sodium-type cation resin, Ca⁺ and Mg⁺ undergo a replacement reaction with the sodium⁺ on the resin. The resin tank can be made of fiberglass, carbon steel lined with epoxy resin, or SS304 stainless steel. Regeneration control methods include flow-based and system-based, and the water supply mode supports continuous operation. Applications include boiler feed water, industrial water, reverse osmosis pretreatment, and the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Applications

Low-pressure boiler feed water, heat exchanger water, cooling circulating water, central air conditioning circulating water, industrial softened water, demineralized water, food and beverage, pharmaceutical industry water, high-purity water for the electronics industry, and pretreatment for reverse osmosis systems. It can also be used for domestic water treatment in restaurants, hotels, apartments, and office buildings, as well as softened water treatment in the beverage, food, brewing, hospital, laundry, printing and dyeing, and chemical industries.
